So I thought --I am a great believer-- that it wasn't me that was talking Russian. It was all the rest of the people of Volchin.
They were talking through me; it was not me. I am sure they wanted me to record everything that happened here during the war, so generations to come, people would know exactly how much these people here suffered and what actually happened to them, so that they would not be forgotten.
